Emergence of R&D projects to improve knowledge and develop techniques or new tools in the field of soil treatment

The central technical and scientific challenges of the 2025 edition of the GESIPOL call for research projects (APR) are:

• Improvement of techniques for treating soil and groundwater pollution, as well as methods and tools for sizing, managing, and monitoring these treatments.
• Advancement of ecological rehabilitation techniques for polluted brownfields.
• Optimization of development project designs (orientations and objectives) in polluted brownfield contexts.

Research proposals should, as much as possible, serve an innovation dynamic and be led by economic actors themselves.

Projects must be part of a well-defined scientific approach based on relevant questioning, based on knowledge of contexts, issues, and scientific state-of-the-art, and on a predefined response methodology including a substantial volume of experimental work and/or surveys.
