Undertake a sponsorship internship in agriculture

Provide the aspiring farmer with practical training on running the farm to be taken over or in which they will become a partner, in order to ensure the successful transfer of the production tool.

Sponsorship helps to sustain employment within a viable business that could, in the absence of a successor, be dismantled, to test the integration of the aspiring farmer into an already established farm, or to allow a transition between the seller and the buyer.

The support consists of a sponsorship internship allowance for the aspiring farmer who cannot claim unemployment benefits or any other training allowance, for an internship valued as part of their personalized professionalization plan.

The aid is granted in the form of a subsidy.

The amount of the allowance is defined according to the remuneration amounts paid to vocational training interns in accordance with the new labor code (part 6 – book I) and decree n°2002-1551 of December 23, 2002.

The sponsorship internship allowance cannot be financed by both the State and the Region.
