Promoting excellence in fishery and aquaculture products

The fishing and aquaculture sectors of Calvados provide very high-quality products, most of which are live and come from artisanal production. Lesser-known species are also present in quantity and allow access to local and quality products at an affordable price. The local population is not familiar with these products, and work to relocate the consumption of aquatic products needs to be supported. Traceability and processing are also major challenges for these sectors, both from a health and regulatory point of view and from a marketing perspective.
