Promoting on-site water infiltration and encouraging rainwater harvesting from roofs and its reuse

Since the early 2000s, the Eure-et-Loir Department has been pursuing a policy in favor of Sensitive Natural Areas. As owner and manager of remarkable sites, it technically and financially supports local authorities in their projects, as well as its associative partners.

The adaptation of territories to the challenges of climate change is prompting the Department to mobilize local stakeholders to strengthen the resilience of spaces and human activities. This is why the Department wishes to facilitate the emergence of local projects for the mobilization of technical and financial means adapted to the expectations of the territories on themes related to ecological transition (restoration and preservation of natural and aquatic environments, planting of vegetation, rainwater management) and soft mobility (departmental plan for walking and hiking routes, development of cycling mobility).
