Fostering student success in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Within its scope of competence, and in constant interaction with local stakeholders, particularly regional Higher Education and Research actors, the Region acts to reduce social and territorial inequalities in access to - and success in - higher education, and more broadly in access to knowledge for all Neo-Aquitanians.

The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region implements a clear, coordinated regional Higher Education strategy to address the challenges of:

• inequalities in access to Higher Education,
• adapting skills to a society in transition,
• the success and integration of all students.

Objectives:

The Region has prioritized 4 areas of intervention in which the projects it supports must fall:

• The development of technical and engineering training,
• The territorial network of higher education,
• Strengthened articulation of higher education training offerings with the needs of businesses and regional strategic sectors,
• Support for doctoral training.
