Promoting the revitalization, dynamization or restructuring of town and village centers in Les Landes

To request assistance from the Department under the "revitalization, dynamization or restructuring of its town or village center" scheme, the municipality, or its inter-municipal cooperation body (EPCI), must first carry out a comprehensive study of its town or village center, such as a "Reference Plan," which will define a global and multi-year action plan.

Types of eligible operations/projects:

Based on the action plan, after agreement with the municipality, the selected projects must concern at least 2 of the following 4 themes:

· Housing and social housing,

· Commerce and services,

· Living environment and the environment, particularly energy and ecological transition and public spaces related to mobility,

· Equipment for the population.

Projects must be located in village or town centers and demonstrate direct effects of revitalization, dynamization or restructuring of village or town centers. They must demonstrate a centrality effect through their impact on services or residents of peripheral rural municipalities.

The aid is part of a priority departmental policy; these are structuring projects that may be of departmental interest.
