Promoting social and medico-social facilities

The implementation of intervention regulations is fully in line with the AUDEVANT project, and particularly with the challenge entitled "solidarity, factors of development for people and territories", which aims to meet needs in a dual dimension: individual, by supporting people, and collective, by creating services and jobs that contribute to maintaining the population in the territories. The regulations thus make it possible to adapt departmental interventions to the socio-demographic specificities of the department, and to contribute to the attractiveness of the territories.

Each year, the Departmental Council determines the volume of investment grants it intends to reserve for municipalities and their groupings.

Aid granted for social and medico-social facilities notably covers:

• Medico-social establishments hosting children under child protection, disabled adults, and dependent elderly people,
• Early childhood care establishments,
• Social housing,
• Dilapidated individual housing occupied by low-income owners,
• Multi-professional health centers.
