Development of a cycling master plan or an active mobility master plan

A cycling master plan makes it possible to program cycling links of community or municipal interest to be built in order to create a structuring cycling network at the scale of the community concerned.

An active mobility master plan is a strategic reference and programming document making it possible to organize the development of active mobilities which are defined as all forms of travel that involve energy expenditure through muscular effort.

Creation and development of infrastructure for bicycles or multi-purpose use (lanes exclusively reserved for the circulation of non-motorized users)

These infrastructures can therefore be cycle paths reserved for bicycles but also multi-purpose greenways that can also accommodate pedestrians, horse riders, scooters, etc.

It is specified that the deployment of the Departmental Interest Cycling Network (RCID) is subject to specific financing arrangements set out within the framework of another departmental policy (outside territorial policy).
