The Regional Union of CAUE (URCAUE) brings together the voluntary CAUE of the concerned region. Its mission is to:

represent and promote the CAUE of its region;
identify and make the knowledge and experience of CAUE available to regional public or private stakeholders;
coordinate CAUE actions for which regional-level organization is relevant;
contribute to facilitating debate between stakeholders in architecture, urban planning, and the environment who operate at the regional level.

In this regard, it can therefore be a point of contact for the regional community, state services, and any other stakeholder mobilized at this level. It does not in any way substitute for the action of the CAUE. It is based at a minimum on an organization between the CAUE that compose it, and some URCAUE have one or more employees.
