Funding feasibility studies for heating and cooling networks

The regional framework for renewable heating and cooling aims to support the initiation of renewable and recovery heating and cooling projects, as well as their implementation. To achieve the objectives of the Climate Plan, it concerns heating and cooling production projects using the following renewable and recovery energies (EnR&R):

• Creation and extension of heating and cooling networks associated with these renewable and recovery production methods, including geothermal tempered water loops.

The financial support from the Region is not systematic. It is assessed by the Region based on an analysis of the projects' projected profitability and their technical and environmental quality, based on the project's economic model and the return on investment period. The project leader will endeavor to demonstrate the impact of public intervention on the project's return on investment period. The allocation of the subsidy will be subject to a vote by the Regional Council or its standing committee.

All interventions can notably be financed within the framework of the Contrat d’Avenir, in synergy with ADEME's Fonds Chaleur.
