Financing investments for the energy transition: heating networks, renewable energy production and global renovation

The Energies Fund was established on April 14, 2023. It is endowed with 100 million euros by 2030. Grant applications must be sent continuously by electronic means to fondsenergies@metropolegrandparis.fr . The allocation of grants is carried out by the Metropolitan Council and each project is subject to a specific agreement.

Candidates will have demonstrated the environmental performance of their project and that it falls within one of the following themes:

• Production of local renewable or recovered energy , for example surface geothermal energy, deep geothermal energy, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic (excluding total resale), greening of heating networks (achieving at least 60% renewable and recovered energy), recovery of waste heat.
• Extension/densification/creation of heating networks supplied with more than 50% renewable or recovered energy, connection of one or more buildings to a heating network.
• High-performance energy renovation of public tertiary buildings meeting the objectives of the tertiary decree, and waterproofing and insulation work on roofs for solarization. New constructions are not…
