Funding innovative renewable gas production projects (studies & works)

Demonstrators or projects in the biogas and hydrogen sectors presenting technical, legal, social innovations or a strong structuring character, can be supported on a case-by-case basis. Several new renewable gas production sectors, hydrogen, pyrogasification and power-to-gas are particularly in the process of being structured to meet the challenges of developing "green" gases by 2030.

Industrial consortiums in the sector, energy companies and project developers, biomass or waste holders; local authorities, etc.

Projects must imperatively present technical innovations or a strong structuring character.

As part of the State-Region Plan Contract, the Region, in complementarity with ADEME, has for several years provided technical and financial support in the territory to foster innovative methanization projects, partly relying on external partners.

This scheme is part of the regional intervention framework for renewable gas production: This framework aims to develop renewable gas production projects, such as methanization projects, as well as future renewable gas production sectors related to hydrogen, pyrogasification and power-to-gas.
