Funding for the valorization of cultural heritage and archaeology

Context and objectives

In the operational chain of heritage, valorization is situated in continuity with knowledge (inventory) and conservation-restoration. The Region is strongly committed to sharing knowledge with the general public. It aims for an improvement of mediation and the dissemination of knowledge, for everyone's access to heritage in all its forms.

The Region wishes to align its actions with those of other partners and use heritage as a lever for collective territorial projects. In conjunction with cultural heritage professionals and particularly with their organized networks, the Region wishes to promote the pooling and professional quality of heritage valorization operations with a view to dissemination to the widest possible public.

Beneficiaries

Local authorities and public institutions (mixed syndicates, EPCC, etc.), associations, and SCI. Operations must be organized within the Occitanie territory.

The financial intervention of the Occitanie Region is a selective aid dedicated to high-quality operations whose ambition and cultural interest are of regional dimension.
