Funding the development of cycling facilities

Facilities developed by local authorities or their inter-municipal cooperation groups have a real tourist appeal. Cycle links of the cycling type contribute to the attractiveness of the territory, particularly for tourism, by connecting key sites of the Cathar Country.

The development of the main or complementary cycle route helps encourage the largest number of people to cycle, which represents a significant ecological asset.

The Aude Department will also support competent local authorities in developing intermodality and all types of soft mobility.
