Financing asset transfer in social rental housing

The Banque des Territoires offers Prêt Transfert, a solution to finance asset transfer and lease buyouts within social rental housing. The project may concern:

• Social rental housing transferred between operators (local authorities and low-rent housing organizations, for example) and eligible for savings fund financing;
• Hostels as defined in article R351-55 of the Construction and Housing Code;
• Several other types of specific housing, provided they are eligible for a savings fund loan.

Please note: the Prêt Transfert finances transfer and sale projects excluding works. Works are covered by a works loan:

• Rehabilitation loan (PAM);
• Habitat Improvement Restructuring Extension Loan (PHARE).
