Some Horizon Europe budgets are structured according to political ambitions ("destinations") and deployed through calls for proposals targeting more specific themes/sectors ("themes"). Your application must therefore be linked to a theme of a call for proposals.

Different categories of projects are eligible:

• RIA, research and innovation actions: fundamental and applied research / development and adoption of technologies / testing and validation of a prototype in a laboratory;
• IA, innovation actions: prototypes, trials, demonstrations, pilot projects, market placement. These actions may include limited R&D activities;
• CSA, coordination and support actions: networking, studies and conferences, communication, studies for new research infrastructures;
