Incentive aids for medical interns to practice in fragile areas: support for the creation of accommodation facilities

The law of February 23, 2005, relating to the development of rural territories, allows local authorities to grant aid intended to encourage the establishment or retention of health professionals. Through this system, the Grand Est Region decides to promote practice in areas with a medical demographic deficit, by encouraging medical interns to complete their internships in these territories:

• By supporting the creation of accommodation facilities for interns
• By granting incentive scholarships for medical interns
• By supporting the organization of events aimed at informing interns about new practice methods and general medicine establishment
