Install a public charging station for electric vehicles

The SDED 52 has had the competence of "installation and operation of charging infrastructures for electric vehicles" since 2018, with the objective of offering member communities of the Syndicate a common and departmentalized service for the installation and management of charging stations.

As of January 1, 2023, the SDED 52 thus has a departmental network of 40 installations (i.e., 80 charging points), located in "town center" type communes or those with tourist potential.

The Syndicate will continue the development of this type of equipment, according to the guidelines of a Master Plan which will be known in September 2023.

The SDED 52 acts as the contracting authority for these operations and, according to the provisions of its competence regulations, requests a contribution from the beneficiary community of between 50% and 100% of the ex-tax amount of the works, less subsidies.

Furthermore, the SDED 52 annually requests a contribution from the beneficiary community of between 50% and 100% of the operating cost, less charging revenues.
