Integrating urban cooling into urban planning projects - My cooler city

Launched in 2022, Plus fraîche ma ville is ADEME's free digital service to help communities sustainably cool their territory.

Plus fraîche ma ville provides communities with a project space, reserved for agents and elected officials, which allows them to equip themselves with a toolbox to design an urban cooling project and thus adapt their territory to climate change.

Among other things, they will find there:

• Climate projections and maps to objectify urban overheating in their territory;
• A proven selection of diagnostic methods and/or solutions to prioritize;
• A module for calculating the urban cooling coefficient at the scale of a space;
• Budget estimates based on the technical modalities chosen;
• An idea of implementation times based on more than 60 feedback experiences;
• A list of available financial and engineering aid;
• Contacts of communities carrying out a similar project.
