Intervene in favor of plastic and visual arts

The Aude Department implements several schemes in the field of plastic and visual arts:

• Subsidies for plastic and visual arts
• Support for creation in plastic and visual arts within the framework of the 1% artistic scheme
• Support for the dissemination of plastic and visual works in departmental buildings

The Department's action, in scheme n°1, aims to support the dissemination of plastic and visual arts to the general public with a qualitative ambition, to promote the balance of cultural offerings in the territory and to support professionals in the sector. The Department contributes to projects for the dissemination of works and support for artistic creation including the implementation of mediation, awareness-raising and art awakening actions.

Scheme n°2 concerns the following artistic creations: drawing, painting, sculpture, engraving, lithography, graphic and typographic works, photographic works, works using light, installation, works belonging to the category of applied arts, works using digital technology. It also includes interventions specially planned for the installation site of the work such as the design of a landscape layout or the creation of original furniture.
