Investing in public lighting

Territoire d'énergie Mayenne is the privileged contact for local authorities and individuals for everything concerning gas and electricity networks. On behalf of the municipalities in the department that own the gas and electricity networks, Territoire d'énergie Mayenne intervenes on the public network for all works guaranteeing the quality of the energy distributed.

Each year, the TE53 carries out public lighting works in the municipalities, whether it is a town center/village center development following the burial of networks, the enhancement of monuments, the extension of subdivisions or the renovation of installations. The TE53 advises local authorities to best meet their needs.

Financial aid:

• For new works related to electrification for member municipalities (extension of the public lighting network): TEM covers a maximum of 25% of the total cost of the works
• For simple renovation works: TEM covers a maximum of 25% of the total cost of the works
• For works within the framework of specific renovation campaigns (e.g. spherical luminaires): TEM covers a maximum of 40% of the total cost of the works

This aid can also be combined with requests for Green Fund financing, which are also supported by the syndicate.
