GENERAL INVITATION TO COMPANIES TO SPONSOR THE 2026 CYBERSECURITY FORUM

Introduction:

The public business entity Red.es, M.P. (hereinafter, “Red.es”), attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Civil Service through the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (hereinafter, “SEDIA”), has the function of promoting and developing the Information Society in Spain.

The functions of Red.es have been legally attributed to it by virtue of the provision set forth in the sixteenth additional provision of Law 9/2014, of May 9, General Telecommunications (for more information you can consult the website www.red.es).

In the exercise of its functions, Red.es promotes and develops the Information Society in accordance with the indications of SEDIA.

Red.es, among other activities, manages RedIRIS, the advanced communications network of the national scientific and university community, which allows its more than 500 affiliated institutions, mainly universities and public research centers, to have the connectivity and network services necessary to collaborate remotely with centers located in different cities and countries. RedIRIS also provides various services to its affiliated institutions (mobility, identity, distribution lists, security, services for e-Science, collaborative services, event organization, etc.).
