Lombardy Region Social Housing Line 3 - Call for support for social housing projects promoted by social private entities to incentivize housing autonomy and favor social housing services

What it is: The call finances building redevelopment interventions of properties, carried out by social private entities, to be allocated to social housing services at controlled rents, providing for both predominantly temporary rentals, in the form of accommodation, aimed at categories with transitory needs, such as fragile individuals, out-of-town students, fixed-term workers, family members of hospitalized persons, women victims of violence, and separated parents, as well as permanent rentals, in the form of housing, intended for households with stable housing needs, belonging to the intermediate band not adequately covered by either the free market or the public housing service. Who it is for: Private entities operating in the social sector, with legal personality and operational headquarters in Lombardy, that are owners or have full availability of the properties subject to intervention for at least 20 years, may apply. Possible beneficiaries include: Third Sector Entities, social enterprises and social cooperatives, civilly recognized religious entities, and non-profit private entities with purposes consistent with social housing services. What it provides: The benefit consists of the granting of a non-repayable loan for building redevelopment, restoration, conservative rehabilitation, or renovation interventions, aimed at making housing or accommodation available for social housing services.
