Maintain the last business or commercial service in rural areas

The Landes Department supports, under the territorial solidarity, investment projects of communities, their groups and their public establishments, aimed at developing and improving local public services in order to promote balanced territorial development.

 

This scheme supports the maintenance of the local economic fabric in rural areas in order to allow, when private initiative is failing and in the absence of local competition, the maintenance or establishment of commercial service businesses necessary for the needs of the population.

Types of eligible operations/projects:

Local or structuring investment projects aimed at the rehabilitation, development or construction of premises for commercial and service uses (shops, essential services, etc.) carried out by communities due to the failure of the private sector are eligible for subsidies.

 

Eligible project expenses:

Construction or rehabilitation expenses for premises used for shops or commercial services and associated project management expenses are eligible.
