Lead agricultural transition actions for water

The objective is to support actions in the agricultural sector enabling changes in practices or cropping systems, including the development of low-input, sustainable, and compatible sectors for the protection of water resources, aquatic and marine environments.

Several water agency aids correspond to this objective:

1. General studies and experimentation in agriculture, including knowledge of soil biodiversity

Are eligible:

• general or global studies with an operational aim (proposing actions to be carried out based on an inventory);
• studies on the knowledge of agricultural soil biodiversity in connection with the protection of water resources and aquatic and marine environments;
• and experiments with agricultural practices.

Maximum subsidy rate: 80%

2. Pressure monitoring system within a territorial approach

Maximum subsidy rate: 80%

3. Compensation for changes in agricultural practices or systems within a territorial approach

Subsidy up to the maximum authorized by the community framework.
