The The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Justice support the development of artistic practice in correctional facilities and judicial youth protection services or establishments, by allocating a grant to the organizers of such projects.

• Since the first memorandum of understanding signed in 1986, the interministerial Culture & Justice policy aims to implement a quality cultural policy for people under judicial supervision.

In this perspective, the Ministry of Culture promotes access to art and culture for everyone, especially for those most isolated or excluded. The "Culture and Justice" call for projects supports, in correctional facilities and judicial protection services, a program of cultural actions in conjunction with local authorities and organizations that wish to associate with the project.

These cultural actions take into account the diversity of expression sectors and intervention methods such as: books and reading, theater, circus arts, music and dance, visual arts, cinema, audiovisual, multimedia and heritage.
