Setting up sports ambassadors

The project to create sports ambassadors, conceived by the Regional Youth Parliament, aims to allow for a true democratization of the practice and promotion of sporting values. Sports ambassadors will play an intermediary role between their establishment and regional authorities.

These sports ambassadors are intended to express themselves and act within their establishment. They are volunteers, between 2 and 5 per establishment, chosen to drive a collective dynamic. If the number of candidates exceeds this quota, a draw will be held.

The main objectives pursued by the sports ambassadors are to:

• Create sports and well-being projects aimed at improving the living conditions of all young people and encouraging sports practice;
• Encourage student participation in sports activities (UNSS/AS);
• Disseminate sports information via the high school's communication channels;
• Improve the visibility and accessibility of sport within the high school;
• Promote relations between different educational establishments;
• Raise awareness among students about the benefits of sport (physical, mental, and social).
