IT - Beyond Zero-Interest New Businesses

What it is The "New Businesses at Zero Interest" measure aims to support, throughout the national territory, the creation and development of micro and small businesses with predominant or total youth or female participation. Following the provisions of decree-law no. 34/2019 and law no. 160/2019, with the Decree of the Minister of Economic Development, in agreement with the Minister of Economy and Finance, December 4, 2020, published in the Official Gazette no. 21 of January 27, 2021, the new implementing discipline was defined with a view to greater effectiveness of the intervention. Who it is for Micro and small businesses established no more than 60 (sixty) months prior to the date of application for incentives, and in which the corporate structure is composed, for more than half of the number of partners and shareholding, by individuals aged between 18 and 35 years or by women. Individuals intending to establish a new business can also access it, provided they submit the necessary documentation to prove its establishment within the deadlines indicated in the communication of admission to incentives.
