Organizing Sports Events

As part of its sports policy, the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region supports the organization of sports events that contribute to the animation of its territories, its economic development, and its influence.

The following three types of sports events are thus supported:

• Exceptional international events
• National and international events
• Events with a strong territorial impact

Amount:

The Region's level of intervention is modulated according to the type of event:

• For the support of exceptional international events, a maximum of 25% of the total cost of organization (direct expenses)

• For the support of national and international events, a maximum of 25% of the total cost of organization (direct expenses) capped at €30,000. This rate may be increased to 50% for disability sports or adapted sports events.

• For the support of events with a strong territorial impact, a maximum of 25% of the total cost of organization (direct expenses) capped at €5,000. This rate may be increased to 50% for disability sports or adapted sports events.
