Participate in the creation and renovation of sports facilities used by middle school students

DEVICE DESCRIPTION

The Department supports municipalities and communities of municipalities in their investment projects. It thus participates in the creation and maintenance of Charente sports facilities, including the rehabilitation and extension of gymnasiums, athletics tracks and sports fields (for the latter two points, the scheme is frozen in 2026).

CALCULATION METHOD

• major repairs and alterations to existing buildings over 10 years old: 20% of an eligible expenditure capped at €500,000 excluding tax
• extension (including addition of specialized rooms) and construction of gymnasiums: (mandatory HQE) 20% of an expenditure capped at €750,000 excluding tax (including engineering costs)
• Rehabilitation or construction of athletics tracks and sports fields: 20% of an eligible expenditure capped at €230,000 excluding tax

In general, departmental subsidies may not exceed 50% of the net cost to the community, and applications with an eligible expenditure of less than €30,000 excluding tax will not be eligible.
