Place the cooperation territory on a carbon neutrality and ecological transition trajectory

Interreg France - Switzerland (2021-2027) is a European Union program co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Swiss Confederation and the cantons, to support European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) which is part of the European cohesion policy. The latter aims to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion by reducing development disparities between European regions.

Within the framework of Priority 1 of the program, projects must fall within one of the following objectives:

1: Sustainable measures for renewable energies

Types of actions:

• Action 1: Promote common strategies around renewable energy and energy transition;
• Action 2: Support and accompany cross-border initiatives in favor of the development of renewable energy production and recovery.

2: Adaptation to climate change, risk prevention and disaster resilience

Types of actions:

• Action 1: Improve knowledge and monitoring of the impacts of climate change;
• Action 2: Develop and strengthen cooperation in terms of security;
• Action 3: Support territories towards greater resilience.
