Taking into account the challenges and requirements of RE 2020 in new construction projects (Training)

Description

France's commitment to fighting climate change, recently reaffirmed in the Energy-Climate law, requires France to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. With this in mind, RE 2020 replaces RT 2012 from July 1, 2021 for a certain number of buildings. The changes are major and aim to:

• Reduce the energy consumption of new buildings with significant changes in regulatory thermal calculation
• Reduce the impact on the climate by taking into account greenhouse gas emissions over the entire life cycle of buildings
• Adapt to climate change with better consideration of summer comfort
• The addition of a life cycle analysis calculation is a major novelty that requires current actors to develop new skills.
