NATURE OF ELIGIBLE PROJECTS

As part of its 2022-2028 territorial policy, the departmental council prioritizes its financial interventions in favor of collective sanitation to preserve and improve the quality of coastal waters and the uses related to them (swimming, shellfish farming, shore fishing, etc.).

Thus, sectors classified as immediate (ZIM) or close microbiological influence zones on the coast under the Territorial Contracts are eligible, which, exceptionally, may include projects carried out by municipalities. These zones, conforming to the zoning of the Agence de l'Eau Seine Normandie, are identified on the map and table downloadable below.

First-time investment projects are also eligible for this aid scheme, regardless of the microbiological influence zoning.

It is specified that the 5 urban cities of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Saint-Lô, Coutances, Granville, and Avranches are not eligible for this aid scheme.

Under these conditions, the eligible operations are as follows:

• The creation, extension, and rehabilitation of wastewater treatment plants,
• The creation, extension, and rehabilitation of collective sanitation networks and transfer pipelines.
