Preserving natural environments: NAture Fund - Nouvelle-Aquitaine United Territory for Restoring our Ecosystems

Faced with the growing challenges linked to ecosystem degradation, the Fondation du patrimoine and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region have partnered for 3 years (2025-2027) by creating an unprecedented fund dedicated to the preservation of natural environments and biodiversity: the NAture Fund.

Equally funded by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and the Fondation du patrimoine, and supplemented by corporate sponsorship from companies committed to the protection and enhancement of the natural heritage of their territory, the NAture Fund will be mobilized to finance biodiversity preservation and restoration projects, based on a joint selection, through calls for projects.

Objectives

The NAture Fund's call for projects aims to foster and support local initiatives carried out by public or associative structures serving biodiversity. The proposed actions must clearly demonstrate a direct positive impact on biodiversity and will, as much as possible, be part of a global and territorial approach to biodiversity recovery.

Thus, the Nature Fund will support:
