Flood risk prevention and aquatic environment management [N° C22]

The objective is to provide technical support to contracting authorities on taking into account and managing flood risks due to overflow and runoff, restoring aquatic environments and ecological continuity, and assisting in the development of PICS.

• Carrying out pre-diagnostics of flood risk due to runoff or overflow in municipal areas
• Facilitating the emergence of watershed studies and providing technical support to contracting authorities for the realization of these studies (establishment of specifications, assistance with administrative, legal, financial procedures, monitoring of studies and participation in the choice of works to be undertaken)
• Administrative support to Municipalities in actions to identify and preserve wetlands in order to preserve natural flood expansion zones
• Assistance to communities for the realization of investment operations to restore ecological continuity and renaturalize watercourses: assistance to the contracting authority for the choice of a project management assistant (establishment of the mission program, assistance in drafting contracts, assistance in choosing the service provider)
