Preventing forest and vegetation fires

Ecological ambition of the funded project

Climate change contributes to increasing the risk of forest and vegetation fires in areas already prone to this risk, but also to developing it in new places across the national territory. The Green Fund finances prevention and equipment actions in territories to improve the protection of areas located at the interface between wooded or vegetated areas and built-up areas, where a large proportion of fires originate.
