Projecting the Blois-Chambord-Val de Loire destination and its stakeholders towards future tourism

Operational objectives:

• Promote projects with a low carbon footprint (including walking, equestrian tourism, "Châteaux à vélo", "Loire à Vélo", etc.)
• Be part of the Blois – Chambord – Val de Loire destination and be an ambassador for this destination
• Support the upskilling of local stakeholders and provide training on the local offer
• Facilitate access to the territory for seasonal workers (accommodation, transport, etc.)

The Pays des Châteaux updated its tourism strategy in December 2021.

11 major challenges have been defined for the Blois-Chambord-Val de Loire tourist destination, including a new challenge dedicated to taking climate change into account.

This action sheet aims to concretize this strategy:

• To move towards future tourism
• To improve the visibility and offer of the destination for local stakeholders, tourists or seasonal workers
• To develop the tourist economy of the territory

To encourage residents to be ambassadors of their territory and consequently to access new services (tourist shuttles, cultural offer, ...)
