Promoting Alpine culture and know-how

CIMA is part of an interregional approach that defines guidelines for the entire Alpine massif in all sectors of activity with a "mountain" specificity (tourism, services, agriculture, pastoralism, forest, energy transition). It is divided into two schemes: Valley Areas and non-Valley Areas.

The "CIMA Culture" aid falls within the non-Valley Areas field:

• it is the interregional scheme specific to the Alpine Massif Committee intended to support various development projects in line with the Alpine Massif Interregional Scheme. Operations are registered by the State (Commissariat Général à Egalité des Territoires - CGET), potentially on the proposal of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region.

• Associations;
• local authorities and their groupings (communes, EPCI, departments);
• public and private establishments;
• public and private companies;
• mixed syndicates (notably Regional Natural Parks);
• Public Interest Groupings (GIP);
• network structures.

Types of eligible actions:

• Actions for the restoration of vernacular heritage in connection with Alpine know-how and in a tourism development approach within valley area strategies;
