The cohesion of the Alpine massif is based on the reconstruction of a common Alpine culture, relying on the cultural heritage typical of the Alpine arc and its ability to forge links to enable territories to preserve their specific know-how.
This scheme aims to:
- Maintain and develop a living Alpine culture, with actions to safeguard and promote the cultural heritage typical of the Alpine arc (intangible and tangible) that target local history, local know-how, and associated built heritage, which form the identity of the territories.
- Promote Alpine culture among local populations, especially young people, and tourists.
- Address culture from a thematic or sector-specific angle, transversally in relation to CIMA's areas of intervention (agriculture, wood, water, risks, etc.)
- Associations;
- local authorities and their groupings (communes, EPCIs, departments);
- public and private establishments;
- public and private companies;
- mixed syndicates (notably Regional Natural Parks);
- Public Interest Groups (GIP);
- network structures.
