Promoting outdoor sports under the Landes PDESI

The inclusion of a space, site, or route in the PDESI 40 serves as an opportunity for project leaders who wish to associate themselves with the "controlled" development policy for outdoor sports initiated by the Department of Landes.

This inclusion has two main effects:

• First, it allows project leaders to benefit from the Department's aid, both for studies, development, and management of practice sites.
• Second, it guarantees users free accessibility, maintenance, safety, and monitoring.

Financial aid is broken down into study, development, management, and acquisition expenses attributed to Level III sites or belonging to a "nature sports station" previously registered with the PDESI. Nevertheless, departmental aid could exceptionally be considered for projects improving Level II ESI, provided they trigger its reclassification to the higher level.

NB: The maximum participation rates displayed are to be applied to the pre-tax amounts of expenses. The granting of aid is subject to the decision of the Department's Permanent Commission.
