Promote sober and resilient territorial development

The Covid-19 crisis highlighted the strong collective resilience capacity of the inhabitants and actors of the Pays de Ploërmel. Economic, agricultural or citizen units revealed their ability to cope with difficult conditions. This crisis, at the same time, highlighted the limits and weaknesses of the territory in terms of its autonomy. However, the Pays must anticipate future crises and transformations, particularly those linked to climate change. It therefore appears essential to support and encourage the production of local resources in order to strengthen the autonomy of the territory, particularly in terms of food, energy, economy and industry. The Pays therefore wishes to support the development of a local, non-relocatable, endogenous economy, allowing for a strong local economic fabric, relying in particular on the riches of the territory.

The types of eligible operations are as follows:

Preservation of resources and the environment:

• Measures for the preservation of water resources;
• Events to raise awareness of biodiversity and environmental preservation;
• Renaturation and revegetation actions;
• Integrated stormwater management actions;
• Studies relating to the implementation of solutions for environmental preservation;
