Promoting local and sustainable food

Public action will make it possible to target funding on transition themes, particularly food-related ones, as well as to support initiatives for the re-territorialization of food, such as territorial food projects (PAT). The South Gironde region also wishes to structure the development of territorialized sectors, local collective tools and associated outlets. Finally, the growing demand for a decarbonized economy offers opportunities to promote initiatives and investments in agri-food development based on local resources.
