Develop cycling facilities

The Departmental Assembly has confirmed the launch of the definition of its mobility policy, which plans to strengthen a very strong link with solidarity, integration and mobility. In this context, the Department intends to play a central role in social and territorial cohesion and support for communities.

The 2018-2027 departmental cycling plan sets the community's objectives in this area:

• have dedicated and secure infrastructure,
• integrate cycling as one of the components of spatial planning,
• strengthen the tourist destination “les Landes à vélo”,
• develop a daily cycling culture.

By derogation from part I of RU article 6, the intervention rates are as follows:

Maximum funding rate from the Landes Department (excluding VAT)

Axes of national and regional interest

• Eligible project owner: EPCI, Communes
• Investments:
• Studies: 20%
• Developments: 20% capped at €240,000 / km for dedicated routes and €2,000 / km capped for marked routes on roads
• Electric charging stations, inflation stations and repair stations: 20%
