Carry out a diagnosis or work in the field of water and sanitation

Moselle Agence Technique is a subsidiary of the Department whose purpose is to provide technical, administrative, legal and financial assistance to member communities and EPCIs that request it.

In order to support communities in the specific areas of water, sanitation and Gemapi, MATEC assists communities in:

• Carrying out diagnoses
• Defining work programs
• Comparative studies on operating methods
• Setting up or renewing DSP contracts, service contracts
• Studies on the transfer of water, sanitation, Gemapi skills
• Renewals of drinking water and sanitation networks
• River restoration and flood control works.

MATEC assists communities by carrying out:
• Feasibility studies providing technical framework elements and an estimated operation cost
• The operation program specifying the needs, the amount of work, the technical constraints that will be imposed on project managers (architects and design offices).
