Reconverting medium-mountain resorts in the Jura Massif

The Jura Massif is experiencing climate changes impacting its natural heritage and therefore its economic and social development, based on this heritage.

With the aim of diversifying activity, converting resorts and deseasonalizing the offer of available tourist products, the objective is to develop an offer of sustainable tourist and leisure activities and cultural activities, accessible all year round and enhancing natural heritage.

This action sheet aims to support the conversion of medium-mountain sites and resorts to maintain a sustainable all-season tourist offer.

The Jura Massif area extends over two French regions, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, and four departments, Ain, Doubs, Jura and Territoire de Belfort. It is composed of 902 communes. (https://www.prefectures-regions.gouv.fr/bourgogne-franche-comte/Grands-dossiers/Massif-du-Jura)
