Remunerate vocational training interns

The Region has the political and legal responsibility to facilitate the conditions for carrying out training for young people and adults seeking employment or a new professional orientation. Starting training often leads to a reorganization of personal life, generating travel and therefore expenses. This is why the Region provides remuneration and social protection to vocational training interns (under certain conditions).

Objectives:

These provisions for remuneration and social protection should enable interns to access and remain in training until the end of the course, during which they can develop their skills.

By granting a more favorable system than the Labor Code, the Region has introduced measures in favor of certain interns based on the principle of solidarity:

• Monthly flat-rate single-parent bonus of €100 for single parents with at least one dependent child (including in cases of shared custody),
• Application of the higher age category scale for first-time job seekers under 18 years of age.
