Ecological ambition of the funded project

Urbanized areas are particularly sensitive to the effects of climate change (heat islands, floods, increased pollution) due to the disappearance or absence of natural spaces. The Green Fund supports local actors in working for the return or creation of natural spaces in the city and in reducing urban vulnerabilities and improving the lives of inhabitants through nature-based solutions (greening of streets or squares, hydraulic regulation or the development of parks, gardens or riverbanks).
