As part of the Loire 2035 strategy and the various Loire Grandeur Nature plans, the objective is to restore the overall functioning of the Loire through several types of actions:

animation, monitoring ensured by the Conservatoire d'Espace naturel pays de la Loire and the GIP Loire Estuaire;
experimental work on the bed of the Loire (groynes, etc.);
restoration work on the Loire's side channels and hydraulic annexes;
project to raise the minor bed of the Loire at Bellevue.
