Serving the energy-climate policies of the Rhône territories

Created by the inter-municipal communities and agglomerations of the Rhône, the Department of Rhône, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Hespul association, and private sector stakeholders, the Agence Locale de la Transition Énergétique du Rhône (ALTE 69) is a non-profit association.

As defined in its statutes, its objective is to encourage, support, promote, and animate, by all means at its disposal, the implementation of the energy transition. Within the framework of sustainable territorial development and the fight against the causes and effects of climate change, it participates in the establishment of a sober, efficient, and renewable energy landscape.

• It supports users (communities, residents, and more broadly all local stakeholders) in their efforts for energy saving, the use of renewable energies, and energy innovations.
• It deploys shared expertise at the departmental level to provide a public service, independent of energy and material suppliers.
