Support cooperation projects

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STRATEGY'S OBJECTIVES:

Cooperation is one of the fundamental principles of the LEADER program; it represents one of the essential elements of added value in terms of development and innovation. Indeed, cooperation contributes to strengthening ties between actors by sharing, exchanging, and carrying out common actions with other territories, national or European, and to fostering the search for experiences, practices, and know-how.
The objective of cooperation is to extend the territory's development strategy and to enrich itself with the experience of partners, acquire new skills, promote the exchange of practices, pool resources, and carry out complementary experiments.
The expected effects are to bring added value to local activities, to unite local actors around cooperation projects, and to strengthen openness to the outside.
Cooperation can take the following forms:
- "Inter-territorial" cooperation between territories within the same Member State;
- "Transnational" cooperation between territories belonging to several Member States as well as with territories of third countries (outside the EU).
